Welcome to the inaugural ntcamp. This conference is the result of many great minds coming together via21st century social networking platforms. ntcamp is an UNconference for new teachers and experiencedteachers to come together and share best practices in education, create thought-provoking educationalconversations, and build personal learning networks. The ntcamp team hopes you leave today energizedfor teaching and bringing new strategies to the classroom. We are very excited for this inaugural eventand hope to see all of you return for ntcamp 2011.

ROOMS

All rooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and some may have speakers and presentation clickers. On the day of theconference, we will list what each room has specifically so you will know before you sign up.All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and our school has bathrooms on each floor. It is an all boys school so women’sbathrooms are marked on each floor.Each session will be broadcast live via USTREAM. Each room is equipped with webcams and laptops that have webcams in them.You may choose to stream live or not stream at all. We will also be coming around to film sessions throughout the day for our archives page. By attending a live stream session, you give your permission to be videotaped for use by ntcamp.

CONNECT

Wifi will be open for the day and will not require a password. The wireless connection will be titled “ntcamp”. We will be streamingthe video on a seperate server as to not interfere with everyones connections. If you have any questions regarding connectivity youcan contact

After ntcamp we encourage you to keep the conversation and networking going at Local 44. Please feel free to come and stayas long as you like.
