Gaza Strip Merchandise and Humanitarian Aid Report

July 18th to July 24th, 2010

Implementation of the Cabinet’s Decision -

June 2010

Israel has increased the capacity of the Kerem Shalom crossing by

60% so that 150 truckloads may enter the Gaza Strip via Kerem
Shalom on a daily basis.
The list of controlled items to the Gaza Strip was published on July
5th . The list may be found on the Prime Minister's Office website-
www.pmo.gov.il/PMOEng/Communication/Spokesman/2010/07/spokegaza050710.htm
Since July 4th , construction work is being conducted on the
Palestinian side of Kerem Shalom crossing. Its purpose is to
enable and expand the capacity of the crossing to 250 truckloads
a day (starting July 31st 2010).

DETAILED CROSSING ACTIVITY

Overall, 995 commodities truckloads

(22,526 tons) were unloaded at the crossings.

73 Truckloads of food were delivered from the

Libyan Flotillas (entered through Egypt.)
Erez (Open Sun-Fri)
Kerem Shalom (Open Sun-Thurs)

269 Int. Org. staff members entered Israel.
280 Int. Org. staff members entered the Gaza
Strip.
358 patients and accompanying individuals
crossed into Israel and the West Bank.
Karni Conveyor
787 truckloads (14,622 tons) were
delivered into the Gaza Strip.
827,251 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for the
power station were transferred.
761 tons of Cooking Gas were transferred.
95,000 liters of Gasoline for transportation
were transferred.

208 truckloads (7,904 tons) were imported to

the Gaza Strip.
