Within each phase, 4 steps (identify key concepts, meaningfully organizeand connect key concepts using avisual map, think critically, and ask keyquestions) continuously repeat, enabling you to meaningfully reconstructinformation that you hear and read into a new creation (visual map), wheresomeone else’s thinking now exists in your mind within your personalframework.CLM contains 5 phases (5Ps: preview, participate, process, practice, andproduce) that break any subject matter into digestible parts, thereby makinglearning more manageable. Each subsequent phase reinforces and builds onthe previous phase.
