You will be using the foot portion of the sock to create the bottom
band. Cut the sock at the ankle. You will then have the foot portion
of the sock left. Most of these fancier socks have different colored
heels and toes. Cut off the toe. Cut off the heel. The portion between
the toe and heel will be left and is what you will fold in half for the
bottom band.
