.'Sa`id bin Mansur recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr said,"I asked Ibn Abbas about Surah
Al-Hashr
and he said,It was revealed about Bani An-Nadir.'''Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded it using another chain of narration from Ibn Abbas.Al-Bukhari also recorded it from Abu `Awanah, from Abu Bishrfrom Sa`id bin Jubayr, who said,"I asked Ibn Abbas, `Surah

'He said, `Surah
Bani An-Nadir
.'''
ِا َِـْا ِّا ِِْ
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the MostMerciful.
ُیَِْا َُهَو ِضْرا ِ َﻡَو ِتَـَا ِ َﻡ ِِ ََﺱ
َُِْا
59:1 Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoeveris on the earth glorifies Allah. And He is theAlmighty, the All-Wise.

ِﻡ ِـَِْا ِْهَأ ِْﻡ ْاوََُآ َیِا َجََْأ ىِا َُه
َِْْا ِلو ِْهِـَیِد
59:2 He it is Who drove out the disbelievers amongthe People of the Scripture from their homes at thefirst gathering.
ُُُُ َُُِْﻡ َُْأ ْاََو ْاَُُْی نَأ ََُْ َﻡ
ِا َﻡ
You did not think that they would get out. And theythought that their fortresses would defend themfrom Allah!
َ َُْ ِْﻡ ُا ُُـَﺕََ ْاََُِْی ْ
But Allah reached them from a place whereof theyexpected it not,
ِْیِْیَِ َُْﺕُُ َنُُِْی َْا ُُُِِ ِ َفَََو
َِِﻡُْْا ىِْیَأَو
and He cast terror into their hearts so that theydemolished their own dwellings with their ownhands and the hands of the believers.
ِـَْا ِْوُی ْاوََُِْ
Then take admonition, O you with eyes.
َْا ِ َََُْ َءََْا ََُِْ ُا َََآ نَأ َََْو
59:3 And had it not been that Allah had decreedexile for them, He would certainly have punishedthem in this world;

ِرا ُباََ ِةَِا ِ ََُْو
and in the Hereafter theirs shall be the torment of the Fire.
َُُﺱَرَو َا ْاَﺵ َُِْ ََِذ
59:4 That is because they opposed Allah and HisMessenger.
ِبَِْا ُیَِﺵ َا نَِ َا قَُی َﻡَو
And whosoever opposes Allah, then verily, Allah isSevere in punishment.
َُِﺹُأ ََ ًََِ َهُُْآََﺕ ْوَأ ٍَ ﻡ ََُْْ َﻡ
َ َِِـَْا َىَُِِْو ِا ِنْذِِ
59:5 What you cut down of the Linah, or you leftthem standing on their stems, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might disgrace therebellious.
Everything glorifies Allah in its own Way
Allah states that
ِضْرَْا ِ َﻡَو ِتاَوَا ِ َﻡ ِِ ََﺱ ...
Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on theearth glorifies Allah.Allah states that everything that exists in the heavensand on the earth praises, glorifies, reveres and prays toHim and affirms His Oneness.Allah said in another Ayah,
ٍءَْﺵ ﻡ نِإَو ِِ َﻡَو ُضْراَو ُْا ُتَـَا َُ َُُﺕ
ََُِْْﺕ َنََُْﺕ ِـََو ََِِْ َُُی ِإ
