25 Percent of Class of 2009 Got Temporary Jobs For Rent 151

Nearly 25 percent of law school graduates from the Class of 2009 reported that they landed temporary jobs,
including judicial clerkships, according to a recently released report by the National Association for Law
Placement.

Graduates of the 2009 class for whom employment status was known reported an overall employment rate
of 88.3 percent, which marks a 3.6 percent decrease from the recent historical high of 91.9 percent for the
Class of 2007, NALP's report said.

included 69 percent of academic jobs, 41 percent of public interest jobs, 30 percent of business jobs and 8 fully furnished, individual office spaces on
