NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF RUSSIAN STYLE

What is "Russian style"?
The ideas about the "Russian style" are numerous and very different. On one hand itcan be explained by the lack of information, and on the other by the absence of exoticmovements, which is after all, where the essence of the style is hidden. In the foundation of "Russian style" of hand to hand combat is a notion of a man as afunctional system, with its main feature - solving a certain problem in various ways(scientifically: to solve an invariable problem using varying means). Such a definition of afighter also defines necessary psycho-physiological and emotional stat of the man in trainingand fighting. The psycho-physiological state is supposed to provide a maximum openness tothe information from both external and internal environment for the fighter, while he is tryingto complete the assignment before him, in the appropriate (the most comfortable to him) way.The optimum of the way used to do it depends on the level of mastery. The emotional state of the fighter supports and strengthens the psycho-physiological one.In IRB

, the heavy emphasis is on the training process, which is supposed to providethe described states, that make the "working base" in training and fighting. What does this"working base" represent, we'll try to explain from the psychological and physiologicalstandpoint. Nowadays, the science talks about two opposite human states, with appropriateregimes of the brain functioning. One is called the regime of concentration, and the other one,the regime of dispersion. All the other regimes of brain functioning are somewhere in between. The regime of concentration appears with the appearance of the focus in the cortex. ByI.P. Pavlov's law of the induction, the field of slowing and retaining is spreading around it.The field of consciousness is narrowed, and all the information from the outside world isreceived through the primary focus of the stimuli. The regime of dispersion appears whenevery-thing is contrary to the above: around the slowing focus, the perception field appears. The consciousness can be spread to the great dimensions. In this regime, the focus of  perception, which receives the outside information, is many times wider than in theconcentration regime. Such a state is called Kandyb's state (KS), by the scientist whodescribed it. KS is the state of trance. Its features are openness to the information from boththe inner and the outer environment, the susceptibility of the human conduct to the words, especially on the inner base. From the above, the formulation of "Russian spirit" and "Russian soul" is derived. TheRussian spirit means the state of openness and the active interaction between the man and itssurrounding. This is not a nationality, and can be characteristic of any man. We call it Russian because it can be seen by observing the man born on the Russian ground, and grown in theRussian culture and traditions. Russian soul - the man who carries the Russian spirit in him, or the soul that contains it. It is usually described as inconceivable, enigmatic and mysterious. Itis characterized by unpredictability, spite, shallow relation to the law, the ability to be

fanatically dedicated to the idea, and the tendency towards the philosophical way of communication.Isn't it Russian-like for a man to open himself to the world around him, and to increasehis field of consciousness, in harmony with the Russian soul that permeates him? Give meyour answer? Our mission is - to define the notion of the "Russian style" of fighting in this chapter. In order to do that, first we need to take a closer look at the kind of emotion that makes afoundation for the creation of the state of dispersion, characteristic for the Russian style. Then, we must note that the psycho-physiological and emotional states are inseparable, andthat the changes in one of them, lead to the changes in the other one. So, what are theemotions that lead to the dispersion that characterizes the Russian style? Let us take some of the emotions we already know, and analyze their influence on the psycho-physiological stateof the fighter. The feelings of selfishness, greed and pettiness can hardly create the state of dispersion. The feelings of malice and hatred can give the strength to the fighter. But, in suchinstances, the only thing that one is able to see is the subject of hatred, and the rest of theworld is clouded by those same emotions. The ability to act according to the information fromthe outer world is lost. The feeling of love is able to describe the entire world, and all of itsappearances can hardly be described. And from the fighter's point of view, such an effect isinvaluable. Love supports the state of dispersion and increases fighters strength to theunknown dimensions. In IRB, love has the function of strengthening the regime of dispersion. It is just left tosee to whom it should be aimed. To the enemy? Does the enemy deserve it? If he does, thanhe is not an enemy any longer. Maybe love should be aimed at oneself? There is a better expression for that - the personal dignity. The love for the family andthe close people, for the environment one is living in - the national pride. Patriotism - the lovefor one's country, the fatherland. In harmony with all of the above, the Russian style of combat is defined as the Russianspirit, empowered by the personal dignity, national pride and patriotism, or as the Russiansoul in combat, supported by those same feelings. There are some questions left unanswered: what should be our emotions for theenemy, and what to do with him? Well, what emotions does he deserve? None. One shouldn'twaist the contents of his soul. How to treat him? The way he deserved. If you managed to turnthe enemy into an ally, you have shown the higher level of fighting.
The appearance of the new technologies in the art of fighting.
It is said that the Russian fighting spirit was lost through the centuries, long forgotten, pushed out by the other styles, with more exotic names. Is it really so? In order to answer this,it is first necessary to clear the definition of "empty hand fighting (in the following text -fighting) as the process of the direct interaction with the opponent", and "the fighting training,in the form of performing the particular movements, according to the chosen style - combattraining". The answer can not be formulated yet, as it is not clear what makes the style of training. Exactly the understanding of fighting based on the tradition, culture and the combat
