This manual was written to provide interested individuals, particularly school children, ameans to study mycological production easily and economically. It provides the generalinformation needed to grow mushrooms without the substantial expense of buying larger publications and material.

The manual was written in the style of the kitchen culture kit by Carol M. Stiff. Originally itwas to serve as a addition to her culture kits or CD, thus the techniques for sterility in her manual should be used and followed..........Al Sears
