defines a series of preservationactions to be taken by a responsible institution to addressan identified risk for a given set of digital objects or records(called collection).

he Preservation Plan takes into account the preservationpolicies, legal obligations, organisational and technicalconstraints, user requirements and preservation goal. Italso describes the preservation context, the evaluatedalternative preservation strategies and the resultingdecision for one strategy, including the rationale of thedecision.
