The Sunlight Centre focuses on issues of political transparency and integrity.We are writing to you in your capacity as the election agent for Chris Huhne.We would be grateful if you could clarify a number of points regarding his campaign’sdeclared election expenses in the run-up to the 6 May General Election.1.Who owns and runs the Itchen Valley Printing Society?When was it set up andwhat purpose was served by establishing the society?2.Did the Itchen Valley Printing Society use its own machinery to print the leafletsthat it provided to Chris Huhne?3.If not, who did print the leaflets and why did they not directly invoice EastleighLiberal Democrats?4.Are the accounts of the Itchen Valley Printing Society published? If so could youprovide us with a copy of the accounts.5.Itchen Valley Printing Society provided all of Chris Huhne’s A4 leaflets duringthe short campaign. These were invoiced, along with other printed materials, toEastleigh Liberal Democrats on a ward-by-ward basis.A certain proportion of each of these totals was then ascribed to the expenses of
