Space
is one of Limericks newest exhibitionspaces, located on Thomas street. It has been set up tofacilitate an ever expanding need for artistic exhibitionspaces in Limerick. It is an artist led project, run by membersof Wickham Street Studios on a voluntary basis.

Space
is committed to delivering a relentlessly energeticprogramme of exhibitions and events.Our intention is that this space will be a central axis for ahuge variety of creative people to experiment and presenttheir work. The organization encourages openness andaccessibility to artists and the visiting public alike, andaims to provide an open solid platform for the visual arts.Our program involves hosting exhibitions of emerging andestablished artists, with a strong emphasis on exhibitingthose based in Limerick.

also hosts other artist led projects such as artists talks, seminars andcollaborative events with other creative practitioners andorganizations.This new visual art journal is intended to expand on theexhibitions and events happening in the gallery as wellas provide a platform for critique and dialogue betweenemerging and established artists in Limerick and beyond.Artists, critical writers and other art practitioners are invitedto submit to the journal and engage with it as a means oftesting, experimenting, developing and expanding on newideas and concepts.

paper is a freeonline journal publishedmonthly or bi-monthly.We are actively lookingfor contributors to writearticles, essays, and reviews.
