Regional Council for the Environment of Junta de Andalucía
The Regional Council or the Environment o Junta de Andalucía is the agency o the regional government o Andalucía respon-sible or the conservation o nature, the application o environmental regulations and policies on the use and management o natural resources, the declaration and management o protected areas, as well as the defnition, development and implementationo climate change mitigation and adaptation strategy and policies.
The Fundación Biodiversidad (Biodiversity Foundation) is a non-proft organization established in 1998 ollowing the commit-ments undertaken by Spain ater the ratifcation o the Convention on Biological Diversity. It carries out activities in the feld o conservation, study, and sustainable use o biodiversity, as well as in international development cooperation. Through InternationalCooperation, the Fundación Biodiversidad manages to unite eorts and create synergies, as well as to promote collaboration withnational and international organizations, institutions and programmes.
