Please review the following carefully:
Payment Schedule and Pricing.
We require the following payment schedulefor all our trips:
At time of reservation: $600 per traveler; special events and larger groups require 30% of total tripcost
60 days prior to departure: Balance Any trips reserved 60 days or less prior to departure date requirepayment in full upon reserving. If balance is not received prior to 60 days before departure, Nomad Travel may treatthe trip as cancelled.
Cancellations and Refunds.
If you have to cancel your trip, we must be notified in writing. Allmoney will be refunded in full, less the following cancellation charges, based on the date of our receipt of your writtencancellation notice, which can be sent by email, fax, or standard mail.
More than 90 days before departure:15% of the total land cost
31 to 90 days before departure: 25%of the total land cost
15 to 30 days before departure:50%of the total land cost
14 days or less before departure: no refund
Partial Cancellation.
Each trip iscustomized to the needs and interests of your group. Trips are priced according to the number of people in your group. If some of the travelers in your group cancel, the price for remaining travelers may require adjustment.
Substitutions.
You may substitute travelers for the trip by completing and submitting an amended Booking Formprior to departure. Each traveler is responsible for securing his or her own air arrangements.
Transfers.
You may transfer to another trip, with different dates and/or itinerary, without penalty by notifying us of your wish to transfer 60 days or more prior to departure. After that time, you are subject to the cancellation feesoutlined above.
Trip Insurance.
We strongly recommend that all of our travelers purchase travel insurance. Travelinsurance can protect you against baggage loss; missed connections; medical emergency, including evacuationcosts; trip cancellation; and trip interruption. Families traveling together, in particular, can benefit from traveler’sinsurance, due to the high investment in the trip and the increased risk of one person's illness resulting in the entiretrip being cancelled.
Documentation.
It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain any visas if required.
Limitation of Liability.
Theseparagraph define our responsibility with respect to all of our trips. PLEASE READ ITCAREFULLY. Your payment inpart or in full for your trip represents your acceptance of the following terms and conditions: You acknowledge thatyou have voluntarily applied to participate in the trip you have chosen . You understand and hereby acknowledge thatthere are inherent and other risks involved in travel and you freely and voluntarily assume those risks. These risksinclude, but are not limited to: forces of nature, including but not limited to weather; civil unrest; terrorism; criminalactivity; physical exertion for which you are not prepared; high altitude; any and all risks associated with food andimpure water;encounters with animals; consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances; accident or illness without rapid access to medical supplies or services; the adequacy of medical attention once provided; lost or misplaced luggage; transportation failures; roads, trails, vehicles, or other means of conveyance, or hotels which arenot operated or maintained at standards common in the United States; or negligence (but not willful or fraudulentconduct) on the part of Nomad Travel or others. You understand that changes to the planned itinerary may occur as aresult of local circumstances or events. You accept changes to the amenities, route, type of transport,accommodation, and schedule that may be necessitated by these local circumstances and events, including but notlimited to mechanical breakdown, strikes, weather, flight cancellations, or other unforeseen problems. You agree to beresponsible for your own welfare, and accept any and all risks of delay, unanticipated events, illness, injury, emotionaltrauma, or death. You understand and acknowledge that the services Nomad Travel provides in connection with itsitineraries, including transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other services, are purchased fromvarious independent suppliers. You understand that Nomad Travel will not be liable for any act or omission of anyindependent supplier or any unrelated third party. You expressly agree that Nomad Travel, and its own agents andemployees, shall not be liable for any delay, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury, death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual engages in providingthese services. Each of these passenger conveyance companies, tour companies, hotels, restaurants, etc., is subjectto the laws of the state or country where the service is provided. You understand that Nomad Travel reserves the rightto take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and may use any such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
Traveler’s Responsibility.
Travelers are responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to their abilities, communicating any special need to Nomad Travel prior to commencement of the trip, and for being insufficient good health to undertake the trip. Unless otherwise specified in the itinerary, travelers are responsible tobringing the appropriate clothing and equipment for their trip. By forwarding the deposit and signed Booking Form andTerms and Conditions, the traveler certifies that he/she does not have any physical or other condition of disability thatwould create a hazard for him/herself or other travelers. Please note that if a trip must be extended or an itinerarymodified due to weather, road conditions, lack of transportation, political or civil disputes, medical emergency, or other causes beyond our control, the associated costs including any non-recoverable costs are not included in the trip ratesor refunds. In such circumstances, it is the traveler’s responsibility to pay directly for actual extra costs in the field
