Dear Timothy:

I took a trip with my uncle to Rome this past summer. I have

never been there and had the time of my life. We went on walks
because their summer weather is like ours. I have cousins who live
permanently in Rome. How are things doing in California Tim?

Last Friday afternoon we went to the Ancient

Catacombs in Rome.

There were many underground tunnels and tombs. There is a secret

passageway that led into the hideout of the Holy Grail. There was a
tour guide who showed us that these underground Catacombs stretch
for hundreds of Kilometers and run underneath the town and its
outskirts. In Ancient times, my uncle told me, Christians were
persecuted and found these underground pathways a safe place. Many
Saints were buried in the Catacombs. As the time passed, no one was
permitted to explore the Catacombs without the permission of the
Catholic leadership. People cannot make a trip to the Catacombs and
just explore it. For many years famous stories have been expressed
about this place.

Things have been destroyed because by the 4th century, many of

the monuments no longer exists due to the Barbarian Goths. I am
really learning from my Uncle. I think he is a great man to bring us to

this famous place.
