Manor;andacurrentdraft

theGoodNeighborAgreementthatisanticipatedtobeusedat
Cliff
Manor.Additionally,many
ofthe
pointsinyourJune17,2010lettertoMaryAnnRuss,werepreviouslyaddressedinresponsetocommunityinquiries:
AclearlistfromDHAlMDHAofwhatsocialserviceswill
be
addressedatCliffManorthroughPSH.PeoplewholiveatCliffManor,includingthosewhoalreadylivethere,receiveavarietyofservicesmostlyprovidedbyprofessionals,skillednon-professionals,variousfaithrepresentativesandrelatives,whovisittheDevelopment.Additionalservicesincludemeals
on
wheels,chore/cleaningservice,transportationtoshopping,medicalprovidersandworshipservices.DHAalsoemploysresidentserviceemployees(availableateveryDHAproperty)whoprovidecasemanagementservices.Theseindividualsmeetwithresidents,talkwiththemabouttheirproblemsandneedsandprovideinformationandreferral
to
off-siteserviceproviders,ifnecessary.UnderPSH,thesealreadyprovidedserviceswillbeaugmentedwithadedicatedcasemanagerwhowill
do
thesamethingDHA'sresidentservicesstaffdo-meetwithresidents
and
makeinformationandreferrals
to
off-siteservices,includingtransportation
to
suchservices.ThecurrentsecuritystructureforCliffManor+theproposedsecurityplanforthenewPSHofCliffManor.DHA
is
currentlyprovidingsecuritythroughacombinationofprofessionalservices(afterworkinghours)fromAbleSecurityandacontractwithacompanythatemploysoff-dutypoliceofficers.Wewill
be
offering
an
apartmentat
no
chargetoaDPDofficer,butthis
is
stillbeingnegotiatedwithDPD.

additiontorent,permittingsomeonenotlisted
on
thelease
to
live
in
theapartment,housekeepingthatcreateshealthorsafetyhazards,committingdrugrelatedorviolentcriminalactivity(notjust
in
theapartmentorbuilding,butalsonearby),andinterferingwiththequietandpeacefulenjoymentofthepremisesbyothertenantsorpersonsresiding
in
theimmediatevicinity
