The Huang He class freighter is a heavy cryonic
LGP (Liquid, Gas, Plasma) carrier. Found in large
numbers within Imperium space, this class is a mas-
sive ship capable of transporting megatonnes of
cargo vast distances.
Because much of the cargo carried, including pro-
methium fuel, may be extremely volatile this class
utilizes a reliable cryonics system to keep the pres-
surized gases and plasmas stable within the cargo
vaults. Due to the critical nature of this system the
Huang He is equipped with a dedicated power gen-
erator for these systems. The cryonic system can be
powered by the ship’s main generator in case of
emergency or regular maintenance.
While the Huang He can mount some weaponry the
chartist captains who run promethium routes con-
sider it under gunned considering the risk some pi-
rates would be willing to take to obtain such a valu-
able cargo. For this reason these captains tend to stay
to well patrolled routes within the Imperium.

Cargo Hauler: This ship was designed as a liq-
uid/gas/plasma hauler and no amount of retro-
fitting will seriously change that. The Huang He
comes pre-equipped with a main cargo hold (Rogue
Trader pg. 203) dedicated to liquid/gas/plasma
storage. The allotted SP’s reflect this.
Dedicated generator: The above main cargo
hold’s cryonic storage is powered by a dedicated 2
point generator. This counts as an internal system
and powers the cargo hold. The allotted SP’s reflect
this.
