Walkathon is Booksin’s biggest and most important fundraiser, raising arecord $180,000 in 2009. The money helps fund essential school-wideactivities such as field trips, music and art programs, technologyenhancements, and teacher supplies.Our intrepid students raise the money by walking laps all day aroundcampus –
collectively totaling enough miles to walk from Booksin to New York City and back again
. It’s a day of incredible achievement andcommunity celebration.We need the effort and energy of every Booksin family to make the 23
