School Organizational Team

Final Week to Submit Your Name for Ballot
Families,

Each year the School Organizational Team (SOT) for our school has to be re-elected. The SOT is comprised of teachers,
support staff, and parents which assists with school decision making, budgets, school performance plan, and other entities in
collaboration with the administration all relating to the Reorganization of CCSD. Members of the SOT attend trainings offered
through CCSD, meet monthly after school hours, complete duties as needed for the school with the administration, and
address the public concerns/suggestions relating to the school at each meeting. The first SOT which began in January of last
school year has graciously agreed to continue for the remaining of this year as nominees. This year would be a commitment
of the team from October 2017 through September 2018 (including summer months).

If you would like to be nominated for the SOT election ballot to be held at the October PTA meeting. Please submit
your name through email to imboden@interact.ccsd.net by Friday, September 22nd to be added the ballot.

Thank You Families: Well, today we had the VIP Party and the school came out to see me eat 14 Crickets! The students
were so supportive, counted for me, and cheered me on! It was truly gross! I think I even would have rather been slimed
again after experiencing this! I cant thank you enough for supporting our school funding projects; I was blown away by the
amount of money raised. I completely believed I would maybe have to only eat 1 cricket! I was happy to be wrong and
happy I didnt get sick in front of the student body!
