Eric Tracy, Principal

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School
775 Bay Road
South Hamilton, MA 01982

Dear Principal Tracy:

This year, a record number of HWRHS National Honor Society students volunteered to man four water
stops on the 10th annual Reason to Ride. We had 15 students represent HWRHS and NHS at various
water stops along the different rides. The reaction of riders to their positive, supportive and upbeat
presence was clear and they were much appreciated by all along the ride route.

The Reason to Ride is a fund-raising bike ride through the North Shore, raising money for cancer
research at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. The participation of these students has become a traditiona
for the Ride, and we are extraordinarily grateful for their community service..

Especially notable this year is that HWRHS NHS students have participated each year in the 10 year
history of A Reason To Ride. Its quite an accomplishment and demonstration of commitment from
them and the school.

Thanks also go to HWRHS faculty Jennifer Sauriol and Barbara Mahoney, the new NHS advisors. They
were wonderful in supporting and coordinating our efforts to get the students signed up and in place.

Here are the students who participated. They deserve credit for their community service and for
reflecting such a positive image of HWRHS. You can be very proud of them, as we definitely are.
