This is an updated version of the Isivivane card game - it is a DIY version as you have to cut out the cards and the left side becomes the facilitator's guide.

"The Isivivane Game - Place Your Stone Upon the Pile - creates immediate opportunities for leaders in government, business, and academia to build richer realities for immediate transformation. These self constructed pathways build new capacities for people to work together to be more creative, strengthen communications, and accelerate collaboration. Isivivane introduces skills and tools people can rely on to engage in modern complexities resulting in higher levels of performance and personal satisfaction. The game is really marvelous!!" - Betsey Merkel, I-Open

Playing the IsivivaneGame has the effect of suspending normal reality. This allows players toreflect on key questionsusing a broader perspec-tive than their position inthe organisation normallygives them. A circle isvisible only when you stepoutside it.

About the Isivivane game
The Isivivane game helps you see com-plex realities in new, more empoweringways and suggests that whatever peopledo can be seen as a game. A game is
asocially constructed sequence of actions
that includes elements such as vision, goals, language, resources, style, values, rules, roles and rituals. It’s the waythese elements interact with each otherthat creates the experience unique to aparticular game.
Cards
The 9 cards are laid out on a table orfloor, relative to the points of the com-pass.The centre card represents the vision ordream of what needs to be achieved. The other 8 cards have a dynamic rela-tionship with the vision and each other. This system provides the informationand structure necessary to action thevision into reality.
Players
The game can be played by one or morepeople. They must want to play.

Facilitator
The facilitator guides the process, allow-ing players to generate and record ideasin a safe space. The purpose of the ques-tions on the cards is to generate conver-sations and input. When agreement isreached, the responses are recorded. When all information has been gathered,it is read out to participants who maythen further vote on key issues as agroup.
Outputs
What emerges from the input is thateveryone has a clear vision of everybodyelse’s viewpoints and of the way ahead.Participants also have the experience of contribution to a process.
Feedback
The facilitator compiles the results into afeedback document that players can referto as a reminder of the event and theagreed actions going forward.
