“Father, into thy handsI commend my spirit”
For me, “Father, into thy hand, I commend my spirit” which is one of the lastwords of Jesus that really struck my heart. I honestly figured out that these words hadreally answered all my questions. First, it teaches me to have solid FAITH in the LordJesus Christ. This word tells me to give my every, little, thing to our God, just trust him,do what you should do, and let God do the rest. Second, what if there are many problemsthat will arise? This very word of our Lord Jesus Christ gave the promise that all our worries are just a micro thing to the Lord. Just as the bible says, in the book of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 26, it tells that God will never FORGET and FORSAKE us. Also this bible verse tells that God is very gracious and merciful to us, even the birds and thegrasses he never forsook so much more, we, as his children will never be forsaken.Sometimes we encounter many troubles and trials in each day of our life, physically, emotionally, spiritually and even financially, but God as a sovereign being implies to usthat we should give all of ourselves to him. According to Proverbs 3:5 & 6 “Trust in theLord with ALL THINE HEART and lean NOT unto thy own understanding”, “In all thyworks acknowledge him and HE shall DIRECT thy paths.”
