On September 23rd-24th, 2010, the 1st Virtual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Congress, supported by Web 2.0 platforms, will engage Spanish-speaking attendees in a rich
an interactive dialogue with CSR experts and organizations from Latin America and Europe.
A ground-breaking initiative in Latin America, the Congress is organized by the “Nodo Digital
de la RSE” (Digital CSR Node, http://www.rselaconversacion.com), a collaborative virtual
project run by 16 CSR professionals –and acute social media users- since 2009.
“Reuniting our members, all from different countries, into setting the Virtual Congress, is
another step towards building a CSR collaborative culture in the Americas using Web 2.0´s
unique tools”, says Fernando Legrand, experienced CSR blogger from Argentina and general
coordinator of this initiative.
The Virtual Congress conferences will emphasize on how Corporate Social Responsibility
shapes organizational practices and how, through Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT), it improves integration within management:

El “Nodo Digital de la RSE” (CSR Digital Node) was founded on July 27th 2009 at
http://www.rselaconversacion.com as a collaborative blog devoted to the debate and
commentary on key issues among CSR professionals – all active users of social media
platforms. Currently comprises 16 members from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Spain,
México, Perú and Venezuela.
