the pulmonary trunkcollectively.The right atrium receives deoxygenated systemic blood from thesuperior and inferior vena cavae. The blood is then pumped throughthe tricuspid valve into the right ventricle, which in turn pumps theblood through the pulmonary valve into the pulmonary artery.
