What does this mean? After Jesus was baptized he began to preach,
“repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” (Matthew 4:17) Jesus said, Heaven is
coming to earth. After He died and rose from the dead, we hear Peter tell us this: that because we are in Jesus we are a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, a nationbelonging to God! It means we are a nation, a community of people who love Je-sus. Our Job is to declare the work of Jesus, praise Him, and bring Heaven to earth.This year at RUSH we are going to learn how to live as part of this kingdom.
