I want to know what happensto a heart when it can no longer heal,
once it’s been broken
beyond repair.I want to know if my heartis healed, whole,or merely patched and untidilymended by clumsy handsand insincere phone calls.I want to know if soulscan be broken too,and if,
once it’s reached that deep,
it can be fixed at all,or if that kind of damage is toopermanentand you simply must learnto keep on going with a woundedsoul.I want to know how to breathewhen my lungs refuse to pull in air, when I feel the pressurebuilding in my chest, like a thousand stones sinking
