Method to find Fabric consumption for Knitted Fabric Order:

You will need the following parameters

Width of the fabric plus allowances – Wa – in cm

Length of the fabric plus allowances- La in cm
Since a fabric has two sides, it needs to be multiplied by 2, or if it is just piece of fabric, take that
parameter as just 1-Sides
Gsm required-GSM

Fabric weight =

Wa x La x sides x GSM
------------------------------
10000

Fabric consumtion = Fabric weight x No of pieces
