Bernard de Broglio, Internet Coordinator, Mosman Municipal Council
Melbourne Presenter

2 September 2010 Mosman Council utilises a range of sharing technologies to better inform
Perth and engage with constituents. Creative Commons is an important part of
that strategy, and is recommended in policy adopted by the Council last
15 September 2010
year as the preferred licence for Council’s materials. Bernard’s personal
interest in the social aspect of network communications was sparked by
Sydney FidoNet and the Sydney BBS (Bulletin Board System) scene of the late
80s and early 90s. That early promise – of new forms of participation
17 September 2010 online – is now being realised.
