WMGS Family History Writers’ Workshops

The writers’ workshops are designed to help and support eachother’s desire to write about our families. Everyone is welcome.We informally discuss questions relevant to each person’s work,provide helpful, non-judgmental feedback on writers’ currentprojects and have fun learning about each other and ourresearch. The group provides constructive feedback andeveryone benefits. Our participants bring samples of their latestwriting project to share with the group. In addition, we like tosuggest different writing topics to give us fresh ideas and keepus writing about our families. If you’re stuck on your currentproject or in between projects, write a story on the topic of themonth and share it with the group. The topic for the Septemberworkshop will be Favorite Family Foods. The topics for futureworkshops will be announced at http://wmgs.com. The workshops are held at the Dominican Center on the corner of East Fulton and Lakeside Drive. Please call Sister

WMGS Program Schedule
The following programs will be held in the GrandRapids Public Library in the Ryerson Auditorium.Meetings begin at 1:30 pm, starting with WMGS business and followed by the speaker. Admission is freeand everyone is welcome! Parking is free at the Libraryon Saturdays. Remember to have your parking ticketvalidated in the Library’s main lobby. Refreshments areserved after the speaker’s presentation. Books andsupplies may be purchased from the Sales Table beforeand after the programs.
