The old San Domenico space on Central
Park South. It’s definitely a special-occasion
restaurant, but my God is it worth a visit.
The décor is striking but comfortable;
the amber marble bar is beautiful. The
menu concentrates on Italian seafood and
everything is sublime. This might be the
best meal I have ever had in New York,
thanks to the Sea Urchin and Rock Shrimp
Pasta and Dover Sole. The Lobster and
Burrata appetizer is also killer, and I love
the homemade chocolates they give you
