 How can ABT assist me as a road patrol officer?
 Underage drinking in Bars & Clubs:
 Many of the calls for service at bars are generated from
underage drinking. We can work with you to reduce these
problems.
 ABT can help you identify fake id’s
id s and then we can work
together to conduct random checks inside the bar.
 ABT can provide an Investigative Aide that will attempt to
make alcohol purchases inside the bar. If they sell to the
underage person ABT will arrest the bartender and in some
cases management staff.

 On August 2nd, 2001 an illegal immigrant
helped Ahmed Alghamdi get a real
Virginia ID card.
 On September 11th, 2001 Alghamdi was
one of the hijackers on UA flight 175.

 Victor Florez thought he was assisting a
fellow illegal immigrant

$100 for his assistance. He was
captured and plead guilty

laminate with the new numbers is layered over
the driver’s license making it look very legitimate.

state. Just byy scanningg the license with a 10 x
loop you should find hidden micro-printing.

readers. Even if you don’t have a reader, an inexpensive 10x
magnifier will help you determine if you are holding genuine card
stock.
