2.0DESIGN2.1Pressure and Temperature2.1.1
The fluid temperature for determining pipe rating shall be the design temperature of connected equipment except that where one piece of equipment is obviouslyoverrated, it shall not govern.
Design pressure for determining pipe rating shall be the maximum pressure based onthe following:(a)Design pressure of the equipment to which it is connected.(b)Set pressure of the pressure relief valve which protects the system.(c)Discharge piping of a centrifugal pump, for cases where the discharge can beblocked-in and is not protected by a pressure relief valve, shall be designed for the largest of the following:
