With no minimum order on most items we can supply the
smallest playgroup up to the largest school.
Our multi-use templates allow for a selection of different products from
the same piece of artwork, with a low cost option on each template
(See page 4).

to read the notes and tips on pages 41-42 before you start, as they will
save you time and help you with your project.

Group Handprint Artwork
If you have only a few children taking part (probably up to 10, depending on the size of their
hands) please follow the instructions for “Group Picture Artwork” on page 26, opposite.
For larger groups, please follow these instructions:
• Using plain white paper - not cream or off-white - divide an A4 sheet into quarters to give A6
pieces of paper. Using bright paint, put each child's handprint on a piece of the paper and add
the name in big, bold letters at least 1cm high. If you wish to typeset the names on a
computer and cut them out to mount with the handprints, please make sure that you cut off
any grid lines.
• When all the handprints are finished, make a note of how many there are and send them to us,
along with your logo, any wording you may require and your choice of border. If you do not
express a preference, we will choose the one we feel most suitable to your artwork. Please let
us have the delivery address, contact phone number and the order requirements.
• We will reduce the handprints as necessary and set up the design.
• If you would like a one-off sample to display and take orders, please enclose a cheque,
payable to All My Own Work Ltd, for £6 with your artwork.
You will normally receive your tea towels within a week, but please allow us a little
longer during the Christmas period.

IMPORTANT: as we do not charge for set up we must insist that these
instructions are followed. We cannot accept drawings done in pencil.
The full-colour print area of our group tea towel is A3, which is the same as two A4 sheets, taped together
up the long edges.
You will need two A3 sheets, one as the master template, the other to cut into "mini" templates.
• Divide one sheet into the number of children taking part, plus one for your group logo and date. (eg.
if you have 22 children taking part, you will need 23 mini templates. The easiest division is 24, which
gives 7cm squares of paper.)
• Either fold the A3 and cut along the fold lines, or draw a faint pencil grid and cut along the lines.
Remove any pencil lines from the templates before mounting them on the master sheet.
• When each child has completed a picture using paint or felt tips, arrange the pictures on the master
template. When you are satisfied with your layout, stick the pictures down firmly with a glue stick.
Add your logo and any wording. Any blank spaces can be filled with gummed paper stars or shapes.
• On the reverse of the sheet, write your border choice, along with the group name address, phone
contact details and list of requirements. If you do not express a preference, we will choose the one we
feel most suitable to your artwork.
If you would like just one sample tea towel to display and take orders, we will print a one-off for £6
including VAT and delivery, but you must enclose a cheque, payable to All My Own Work Ltd with your
order.

ARTWORK information
As long as the basic instructions below are
followed, successful results can be achieved
by even the youngest in the group.
Artwork must be bright and bold as our process will not recognise pale
or wishy washy colours. You MUST use felt tips or paint.
✔ Make sure that the paper is the right

orientation for the product – details are Paper Orientation
on the back of the templates. Portrait
✔ Suggest ideas or themes eg. Self-portrait, Landscape
family, holidays, hobbies, jungle, pets etc.
✔ Do not expect an exact colour match and please bear in
mind that if the artwork is messy, then the print will be
equally messy!
✔ Keep important bits of artwork, such as names and ages
away from the edges of the template and the corners.
✔ Do not damage any pre-printed border line.s
✔ You may add your group logo to the artwork – just cut it
out and glue it on.
✔ Please add the child’s name and age to the artwork so
that it appears on the finished product. We will not add
the names.
✔ If it is not obvious which way round a picture should be,
please indicate “top” on the reverse of the artwork.
✔ Individual artwork is returned along with the products, so
you can identify which product belongs to whom.
✔ Group artwork is retained for future orders unless
otherwise instructed.
✔ Before you send in the artwork, please ensure that the
order form on the template is completed in full, with the
child’s name, group name, product choice and quantity
written on the back of EACH PIECE of artwork. If your
group has a long name then it is fine to use initials to
identify it. If you would like the items sorting into classes,
please make sure that the class number or name is
marked clearly and CONSISTENTLY on the artwork.
When you send in your artwork, please include the following
information: Contact Name, Group Name, Address, Postcode
and Telephone Number.
We reserve the right to reproduce supplied artwork for marketing purposes.
