Affiant’s belief is based upon the following facts and informatic ASfiant’s personal investigation of this allege offense Qa » 8 fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas Count ‘Texas, who personally participated in the investigation of this alleged offense, providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes ‘to be credible, which Affiant received from: On January 12, 2018, at approximately 10:50 PM, Suspect Derriccio Deon Young Jr, shot and killed Complainant Keith OBrian Fowler in the 6000 block of Greenspan Avenue, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas 75232. (On January 13, 2018 at approximately 12:10 AM, patrol officers responded to a call from police dispatch at 3500 W. Wheatland Road regarding @ black male who had been shot multiple times. Upon arrival, officers learned that complainant Keith Fowler had been {ransported to the location by a witness, after being shot multiple times, while in the 6000 block of Greenspan Avenue. The complainant was then pronounced deceased by hospital staff. Patrol officers met with a witness who was at the hospital with the complainant. The ‘witness informed officers that the offense occurred in the 6000 block of Greenspan Avenue. ‘The officers contacted Homicide and PES regarding the offense and they arrived at the scene and hospital. The witness was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters and met with detectives. During the interview, the witness informed detectives that the complainant was involved ina previous physical altercation with suspect Young over a female. Suspect Youngs the ex-boyfriend and the complainant is the new boyfriend, The witness who knows suspect Young by name and face stated, while in the 6000 block of Greenspan Avenue, suspect Young exited out of 1G TMEEEMED on the passenger side and approached the witness’ vehicle, which is a ‘Suspect Young walked around to the front passenger side where the complainant was seated and fired multiple times at the complainant causing serious bodily injury. Suspect Young entered back into the@AIREENEEE which fled the location. The witness was also inside of the ‘vehicle but was not injured. The witness transported the complainant to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives ‘met with several other witnesses who observed suspect Young shoot the complainant in the 6000 block of Greenspan Avenue. Witnesses ‘were shown six person photo line-ups and were able to positively identify suspect Young asthe individual who shot and lled complainant Fowler.
