This particular calendar is organized into groups, with each grouphaving a different color. On the left of the screen is a list of the
groups (referred to as “calendars” in Google Calendar).
Clicking ona group
in this list will hide that group’s events from the calendar
view. This feature might be useful if you are interested in seeing a
few group events at a time, you can “hide” some groups to focus
Please note that these screenshots were taken while the Calendar was still being developed. Some groups may be missing from the pictured list, or mislabeled. The information in this calendar iscontinually being updated and corrected.
You may notice in the group list an item labeled “Task”. This is not
a group, it is a default Google Calendar feature for managing tasks. At this time it cannot be removed. However, many Google Calendar users have complained about this limitation and Google may add an option that will allow us to remove it.
Viewing and Editing Event Details
Click once on an event in the calendar view will display details about the event. The exact times,location, and a description (if there is one
) will “pop
up” on the screen
).When clicking an event, make sure your mouse pointer is within the colored area of the event,otherwise you may get the pop-up box for adding a new event.
