Description

This study shows a close correlation between fish consumption and the occurrence of bipolar disorder, as well as depression.

Bipolar is not something I know a vast amount about, but I have heard the same story as per schizophrenia - "it occurs at x% everywhere in the world with little variation". This is very much untrue in schizophrenia - it varies massively, between countries and within countries. This would also seem to be the case in bipolar.

So get taking that Fish Oil. The research is also suggesting that fish oil may have a preventative role for bipolar - so it would be well worth taking for anyone who believed they were at risk of developing it.
