Working rom the spool o 12-gauge wire, wrap the wirearound the size 6 mark on the ring mandrel to make ajump ring

Place the ring on the soldering block and light thetorch. Holding the torch about 1½" (3.8 cm) rom thering, rotate the ame around the ring in a circle, slowlyheating the whole surace. When the ring glows,concentrate the ame on the join until it ows together

. Turn o the torch. Use using pliers to dip thering in the quenching bowl to cool, then dry.
