My qualifications to serve as your councilman include these experiences: growing up andattending school here in the 60's and 70's, service in the Army National Guard in the 80's and

90's, raising my kids here--all three graduated from San Dieguito Academy in the OO's, and a

dedication to keeping the small town atmosphere--which we alliove--as a key ingredient in the

decisions I make when conducting the city's business during the 10's.

To do that I will pursue policies that wil keep the beaches clean and accessible; parks green

and full of activity; make use of ball fields all overtown to play games ón; keep our open space

open; provide appropriate support for businèsses; ensure that there are public places for

artists to perform and display their art; maintain and improve our roads for more efficient car

and bike travel; work with Caltrans so that improvements to 1-5 won't destroy our quality of life.

Our city needs to control its expenses and pensions. I wil vote on your behalf to make this

happen.

My campaign's theme is summarized in these seven words: Trust, Tranquilty, Tradition, Traffc,

Trains, Trees and Transparency.

expect. Unfortunately, our City Council has 1 i frequently been distracted by pett

personality conflcts and politics, rather than staying focused on City priorities.

As CFO for Doctorsor Physical Therapy, I know how to balance a budget while

providing the highest quality service, and thats how i wil approach my duties as

I serve as President of San Dieguito Sport Medicine Foundation, Vice President ofFundraising for Encinitas Educational Foundation and founder of Coast SeniorFitness. I have served as President of Encinitas Rotary Club and board member forPatrons of Encinitas Parks.

My highest priorities are fiscal responsibilty, protecting our natural

environment and public safety, I will make the tough decisions required to

successfully navigate the issues our city wil face.
