This Regulation sets forth policy andprocedure for the appointment of commissionedand warrant officers in the Ohio Military Reserve.
This regulation supersedesOHMR-R 601-1, 01 December 2004.
This regulation is applicable to allpersonnel requesting appointment in the OHMRand applies to all concerned personnel already inthe OHMR.
Supplementation of this regu-lation and establishment of command and localpolicies are prohibited without prior written ap-proval from the Assistant Chief of Staff, Person-nel and Administration, OHMR-G1.

General1-1. Purpose.This regulation establishes responsibility andprocedures for the appointment of regular andhonorary commissioned and warrant officers forservice in the OHMR. Unless otherwise speci-fied, the term “officer” in this regulation applies toboth commissioned and warrant officers.1-2. Reference.AR 135-1001-3. Appointment limitations.a.
