A quality report to the community on the effectiveness of the instructional practices at the West Shore School District located in Cumberland County and York County, in central Pennsylvania.

Reports student achievement in reading, mathematics, science and other factors.

Students achieving proficient or advanced are on or above grade level. Below grade level performance is reflected in basic and below basic scores.

Results are also reported by sub groups where the school or school district has a population of more than 40 students. Examples include: gender, race, low income, students with IEPs - (Special Ed & disabled students)

In 2010, the Pittsburgh Business Times ranked the West Shore School District 269th out of 498 Pennsylvania school districts for the academic achievement of its students in reading, writing, math and science based on three years of student scores on the PSSAs.
