गीतेत 'योग' हा एकेरी शब्दच 'कर्मयोग' या अर्थी योजिलेला आहे. (त्यावेळी) उपलब्ध असलेली भाष्ये, टीका आणि भाषांतरे यांत टीकाकारांनी ठरविलेले तात्पर्य ग्राह्य नसून गीतेतील प्रतिपाद्य विषय प्रवृत्तिपर आहे हे मत कायम झाल्यावर लोकमान्यांकडून हे पुस्तक घडले. पुस्तक मंदलेच्या तुरुंगात १९१०-११ मध्ये लिहिले गेले आणि १९१५ मध्ये प्रसिद्ध झाले.
मुळ ग्रंथ एकच असला तरी त्याचा आकार मोठा असल्यामुळे downloading सुलभ व्हावे म्हणून चार भागात विभागून इथे upload केले गेले आहे. पैकी हा ४ था भाग -
