The Journey of my Life

My dad tells me, you’re in your final week, boy;

You’ve got to settle down and round up well.

I tell him, yeah dad, you’re right. But I say that

On the grounds of the faith I profess. For four

Years, I’ve been stuck in the helm of affairs,

Trying to battle my way into the university.

But math won’t let me go; and as I enter into

The final week before my private exams, I cry out

To God; I know He won’t fail me; and I commend

Everything to Him. Without a divine intervention, I

Know my life is in shambles. Help me Lord, make

A way, bless me with a filled day!
