Funding from Danida enabled HOORC to draw up the Research and Monitoring Action Plan for theOkavango Delta Management Plan.The team would like to thank the DEA staff, the representatives of all the ODMP partner institutions,BirdLife Botswana, Okavango Wilderness Safaris and all the HOORC staff members for their valuablecontributions. Without the detailed sector specific information this Research and Monitoring Action Plancould not have been compiled. Special thanks to Prof. Ringrose, Dr. VanderPost, Mr. Sekgowa Motsumiand Mr. Mokgadi Monamati who dedicated some of their time to revise the draft report and to Mr.Gaseitsiwe Masunga who provided an overview of all the research and monitoring activities related to theDepartment of Wildlife and National Parks.
