Left Sided Vs. Right SidedWhich one are you?
It was a cold day many years ago when I found myselflying back down on a slab of cold concrete. I hadbeen shot. I was lying there thinking about my entirelife, wondering how in the world I allowed myself toget to this point.I had just stared into the barrel of a gun. At thatmoment, another person held my life in his hands. What he chose to do next would have a huge impacton my life. To this day I thank God for his mercy. Hecould have shot me in the head but he chose to shootme in the leg instead. My life was spared but theexperience changed me.I began thinking about so many different things. Ibegan to wonder why I had allowed myself to be inThis question is what I want to talk to you about. Thisis what I figured out and it completely changed mylife. There are two sides:
Left side Right side
This has nothing to do with politics or which side ofthe brain controls what functions. Let me explain.
The Left-Sided Person
On the left side, there are people who are plaguedby their past. They’re completely immobilized, paralyzed by all the things that have happened intheir past. They’re perplexed about their present. They have no idea what it is they should really bedoing right now. Many of these people actually evencompete against themselves.A business person for example, may want to growtheir business but they’re afraid to spend money. They want to have success in their life but they’reafraid to take risks. They want huge rewards but theydon’t want to work. This leads to a person with conflicting goals competingagainst each other. The end result is a great deal offriction in their life. These people are also foolishwhen it comes to their future. They have no definitionabout their future. They have abstract ideas of whatit is they want to accomplish in their life.To sum it up, left-sided people are plagued by theirpast, perplexed by the present and foolish about theirfuture.Left-sided people stop shooting for really high thingsin life. They don’t allow themselves to be compelledby anything. This goes for their personal and businesslife.People are constantly saying that you need to berealistic. Realistic expectations are not about havingremote expectations. Realistic expectations are notabout having low expectations.this situation. Howhad things gottenso bad for me? I didwhat most peoplewould do in mysituation. I felt sorryfor myself… untilthis question cameto mind.
Does The Present Create The Future or Does The Future Create The Present?
