[Who] hears the prayers of every mouth,

behold, I am coming before You shamefaced,

for I know my disgrace, and my shame,
izOlkE§¦¨¦
and my humiliation,
izEltW aFxe§¦§¦
and the great [extent] of my degradation
izENce§©¦
and my lowliness,
iMxr hErnE¦¤§¦
and my insignificance,
izbVd xvwe§Ÿ¤©¨¨¦
and the lack

of my comprehension,

and the enormity of my sin,

such that I am not appropriate

or qualified or worthy to pray for myself,

and certainly [not] for others.

For those who come to entreat before You—

it is necessary that they send before them

[the] good deeds that they have already [done]

and the charities that they have contributed;

and that they know how to supplicate

Your compassion and Your kindness,
