One recipe Oil Pie Crust (see below)

6-7 apples- tart, semi-tart and firm like Granny Smith or Braeburn
1- 1 ½ cups sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter

Peel, core and dice apples. You should have 4-5 cups of apples. Mix apples,
sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together and let sit for 5 minutes
while you roll out the crust.

Put bottom crust in pie plate. Add in apple mixture. Dot apples with cut up
butter. Top with rolled out crust. Crimp edges of pie. Cut slits in top of pie to
let steam out.

Brush top of pie with small amount of milk and then sprinkle with cinnamon
and sugar.

Cover the edges of the pie with foil and then bake at 400F for 50-60 minutes.
You will know when the pie is done because you will see the pie juices start to
bubble around the edges.

2 cups flour
½ cup canola oil
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon salt.

Mix all ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes. Divide
in half and roll out for two crust pie.
