 DELEGATION : Assignment of formal
authority to another person to carry specific task.
: Essential for efficient
functioning of any organization.

DECENTRALIZATION : Authority and power


is passed down the organizational hierarchy.

 Garjan Singh joined as CEO – Had to take tough
measures to set things right.

o High tempered
 The is a sense of use of power , authority and
centralization in the organization.
 He has a self justified view for his tough steps
and rude behavior towards the employees.
QUESTIONS

Garjan Singh mostly relied on extreme power
implication.
Our point would have been it was necessary at
the start but not now.
At some point of time your behaviour towards
organization and employees should change.

Primary power base- Force for results

Long term implications may be positive or


may be negative.

But usually thinking it will be negative.

But no guarantee of same future.

Might happen that company reputation will be


hampered.
CONCLUSION

 De- centralization is highly necessary.

 Extreme authority is not acceptable always.

Might result in demotivating the employees.
