Things between Matt and I are a little awkward now.

We still hang out but it’s still a little weird.

It’s sophomore year all over again.
Matt and I were doing homework together at the dinner table.
I felt Matt staring at me as I worked.
“What is it?” I asked not looking up.
“You look beautiful,”
“Thanks,” I said smiling unwillingly.
Matt lifted my head a little and leaned in.
I slapped him quickly.
Reflex.
“Sorry,” we muttered together.
“Matt, you need to stop,”
“I can’t,”
“Why not?”
“I don’t know,” he sounded frustrated.
“Maybe you should go,”
“Vi, please,”
“I’m serious,”
Matt sighed and gathered his things together.
I sighed and walked him over to the door.
He kissed my cheek quickly then left.
I picked up the phone and called Josh.
He always knows how to make me smile.
Maya’s Point Of View
“This wont work,” I said into the phone.
“It will. Do you have her email yet?”
“No, I’ll get it today. Tell me the plane again,”
“I’ll email a very shocking picture of me and Josh to Violet. Once she sees it, she’ll
flip and break up with him. Then, I’ll mend Josh’s broken heart and we live happily
ever after,”
“That’s great, but what how is this going to help me and Matt? Matt will see Violet
sad and go running to her,”
“But, Violet will reject him and we can win him over,”
“This won’t work, Chloe,”
“Yes, it will, we always get what we want,”
I smirked. “Good point,”
“Ready for phase one?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be,”
Violet’s Point Of View
Max, Danni, Lynn, Maya and I were eating dinner together as we watched The Noteb
ook.
The movie was coming to an end and we were all teary eyed.
I’ve seen this movie a thousands times and it still gets to me.
“I cry every time I see this movie,” Danni said.
“Same here,” Maya said.
I turned off the T.V. and the girls and I talked for a while.
“Alright ladies, I should get going,” Maya said.
“Okay, see you tomorrow,”
“Right, oh, can I have your emails?”
“Sure,”
Danni ran and got a piece of paper and a pencil and we wrote down our emails.
“Thanks,” Maya smiled. “Bye,”
“Bye,” we called after her.
The girls and I got ready for bed, then went to sleep.
I say again.
