On the third day, God and the fruit tree… and it was so.
separated the land from Gen. 1:6-12 NIV

every plant and tree.

DAY And God made two great lights; the

greater light to rule the day, and the
lesser light to rule the night: He made
the stars also. And God set them in the
firmament of the heaven to give light
upon the earth…
Genesis 1:16-17
On the fourth day God
created the lights in the
heavens.

And God saw that it was good.

And God said, “Let the water teem with
living creatures, and let birds fly above
the earth across the… sky.” So God
created the great creatures of the sea
and every living and moving thing with
which the water teems…
On the fifth day, God Genesis 1:20-21

sea and the birds of the
air.

And God said, “Let the land produce

to the man.
Gen 2:21-22

And God saw that it was very good.

DAY
So the sky, the earth and all that filled them
were finished. By the seventh day God finished
the work He had been doing. So on the seventh
day He rested from all His work. God blessed
the seventh day and made it a holy day. He
made it holy because on that day He rested.
