    In this creative project, basic cognitive behavioral therapy tech-
    niques are presented to a target audience of 9- to 12-year-old
    children through the experiences of characters in a storybook in
    order to build confidence and self esteem. The characters in the
    book face stressors familiar to the target age group and use sim-
    ple techniques to manage anxiety.

    10-11:30 a.m. defense so you do not interrupt.
    NHI 2, Room 220 If you cannot arrive early, you can plan to
    attend another open defense at a later
    date.**
