The focus is on Hispanic Heritage.

These exercises are for secondary and college level ESL and or students studying Spanish. This eBook was designed for supplemental instruction. The word games can be used to review, reinforce and celebrate Hispanic history. The vocabulary games are appropriate for individual as well as group work. The exercises can be used in class or as brief take home assignments.

The activities were designed to be enjoyable, challenging, and most importantly enlightening. They were calculated to save teachers time by supplying ready to use supplementary material.

Vocabulary is presented in context to the theme of Hispanic history in an effort to increase knowledge and understanding of the diverse cultures of the people of the United States. Students will increase their reading, writing, and vocabulary skills through exposure to the Hispanic Heritage customs, traditions, institutions, and values.

This activity eBook will help develop new perspectives about America’s cultural diversity and build the self esteem of culturally diverse students. To this end, teachers should recommend students using a dictionary and or some type of reference guide with this book. Please note most answers are in the book.
